Owing to the outbreak of COVID-19, fewer people visited Taiwan since early 2020. That’s why there are only about 1/3 visitors than before in these two years. However, the technologies and designs of medical devices and the quality of medical services are booming still.
This year, MinSheng General Hospital created a whole new type of exhibition. Almost 30 expertise and specialists joined the expo in the form of humanoid stands. It felt like a small party or seminar without alcohol.

With more and more techniques pop out, and the speed of this ever changing world getting faster, people’s need about knowing the condition of his/her own body is arising. With the help of Internet of Things, people get the chance of monitoring body condition simultaneously and continuously without much efforts.
We should always look into the purpose of a conduct. Why should we know our own body conditions all the time? Maybe it’s because the price of medical personnel rises. Or the accessibility of medical services is getting low, owing to severe problem of the aging society and sub-replacement fertility.
It is going to be fewer people, taking care of us in the future, then we have to think about some alternatives to look after ourselves instead. This is maybe one of the reasons why information and communication technology companies are all gathering their resources and pouring it into the sector of digital healthcare and medical devices innovation.
